Satrap Pharmed Co, Ltd. is established in 2006 with the mission to contribute to society healthcare by supplying important Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, Dermocosmetics and Veterinary products, to improving quality of life and public health directly or indirectly.
With two offices in Shiraz and Tehran, we are active in the below fields:
- Pharmaceuticals (Import, production / under license production and parallel import based on the shortage list of the MOH)
- Food Supplements (Import, production / under license production)
- Dermocosmetics (Import, production / under license production)
- Veterinary Products (Import, production / under license production)

Satrap Pharmed is not involved in direct distribution and the products are distributing by outsourcing contracts with 5 general distributor companies in all Iran provinces for better capillary distribution in the target points which are mainly pharmacies.
Satrap Pharmed is specialized in field of under license manufacturing of pharmaceuticals (brand generics) and nutraceuticals. We are in contracts with some local manufacturers for this business model and also in a strategic joint venture partnership to work as the middle east production and supply center of Pharma Developpement / France, for Iran market and all Persian gulf area countries.
Satrap Pharmed in 2016 made a joint venture with Iran Pharmis Co. (the biggest disposable medical devices importer and distributor in Iran) and Darou Darman Parmida (DDP) is established as a new company dedicated for importing pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. Now DDP is a very active company in import and marketing of nutraceuticals / food supplements, especially in field of fertility and it is a well known company with reputed brands for the physicians in all provinces of Iran.
Satrap Pharmed has a valuable experiences in dermatology and dermocosmetic products and with registration, import and introduction of the internationally well known brands like Pilfood (from Laboratories Serra Pamies / Spain), has very good reputation and position in Iran market.
Our project for under license manufacturing of dermocosmetics is already started. We are manufacturing and packing the high quality brands from two Spanish companies, Capricorn Pharma and Valquer.

“Health,” as defined in the WHO constitution “…is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
Science and technology had significant successes for increasing the level of human health. In 1900, global average life expectancy was just 31 years, and well below 50 in even the richest of countries. For most of the world now, life expectancy is around 70 years, with rich countries having significant populations over 80 years old.
But many health challenges still remain. 14 million new cases of cancer are reporting every year, and almost 20 million people die of cardiovascular disease. Poor sanitation, lack of access to basic healthcare and other preventable causes also take the lives of tens of millions of people each and every year in the developing world. Our successes have also led to a vast increase in the number of chronic diseases our population must cope with (a bi-product of getting older).
More than 35 million deaths each and every year can be attributed to chronic disease, and tens of millions more.
We, in Satrap Pharmed Company, are trying to have even small share in the global efforts for increasing health levels in people.
